Distinctive Features Of Flexographic Printing
- Jan 10, 2019 -

Flexographic printing is a novel type of letterpress rotary printing method, which uses a photosensitive resin plate directly printed through a short ink path. With the continuous advancement of technology, flexographic printing is opening up new fields, and has changed from simple and rough printing methods to high-quality, low-cost, environmentally-friendly, and most growing high-speed printing methods. Manufacturers began to use flexographic printing to meet the needs of label production.

Flexographic printing has four notable features:

1. The use of water-based inks is conducive to environmental protection;

2, from the entry of the raw paper into the machine to the completion of the finished line, the production efficiency of the connection is high;

3, the ink path is short and no water ink balance requirements, so there is no color difference in the printed matter;

4. In recent years, China's labor costs have risen rapidly, and the advantages of using small units for flexo printing machines and high production efficiency have gradually been reflected.

Because flexographic printing uses water-based inks that are harmless to the human body, it is particularly suitable for packaging and printing of food and medicine.
